1. Booking Requests and Confirmations

  • Submitting a booking request, quotation request, or callback request does not guarantee a confirmed appointment.
  • A booking is considered confirmed only after we have approved and confirmed it via email, phone, or message.

2. Cancellations by the Customer

a) Before Confirmation

  • Customers may cancel a booking request at any time before confirmation with no charge.

b) After Confirmation

  • If a booking has been confirmed, customers may cancel or reschedule by contacting us as soon as possible.
  • We request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

c) Late Cancellations and No-Shows

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in a cancellation fee.
  • Failure to be present at the agreed time (no-show) may result in a charge to cover time and costs incurred.

3. Cancellations by FixRight London

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to:

  • Illness or emergencies
  • Adverse weather or unsafe conditions
  • Lack of access to the job location
  • Incorrect or incomplete information provided
  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you and offer a reschedule or refund where applicable.


4. Refunds

a) Service Not Yet Performed

  • If payment has been made in advance and the service has not been performed, a refund may be issued where appropriate.
  • Refunds will be processed using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

b) Service Partially or Fully Performed

  • Refunds are generally not provided for services that have already been completed.
  • If you are dissatisfied with the service, please contact us promptly so we can assess and attempt to resolve the issue.

5. Unsatisfactory Work

If you believe work has not been completed to a reasonable standard:

  • Notify us as soon as possible
  • Provide details and, where possible, photos

We will review the issue and may offer:

  • Rectification work
  • Partial refund (at our discretion)
  • Alternative resolution

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.


6. Payments and Charges

  • Any applicable cancellation fees will be communicated clearly.
  • Charges are based on time, travel, and preparation costs where relevant.
